It treats division as inversion and regularizes the inversion using <a href=\"\/RSF\/book\/tccs\/shape\/paper_html\/\">shaping regularization<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The following example from <a href=\"\/RSF\/book\/jlu\/riesz\/sigmoid.html\">jlu\/riesz\/sigmoid<\/a> shows the local dip computed by a smooth division of two components of the Riesz transform.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/RSF\/book\/jlu\/riesz\/sigmoid\/Fig\/rizdip.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The denominator file is provided by <strong>den=<\/strong>. The shaping regularization is controlled by smoothness radii <strong>rect1=<\/strong>, <strong>rect2=<\/strong>, etc. and the maximum number of iterations <strong>niter=<\/strong>. The iterations can be accelerated by using <strong>eps=<\/strong> parameter.
