Bartlein (2004) <a href=\"http:\/\/geog.uoregon.edu\/datagraphics\/EOS\/\">The end of the rainbow? Color schemes for improved data graphics<\/a>. EOS Transactions of the American Geophysical Union 85(40):385 <\/p>\n<p>Matteo Niccoli <a href=\"http:\/\/mycarta.wordpress.com\/2012\/03\/15\/a-good-divergent-color-palette-for-matlab\/\">recommends it<\/a> for seismic data as a replacement for the familiar red-white-blue pallete (<strong>color=g<\/strong> in Madagascar). Now the Light-Bartlein palette is available to Madagascar plotting programs, such as <a href=\"\/RSF\/sfgrey.html\">sfgrey<\/a>, as <strong>color=lb<\/strong>.
