Why use the name Madagascar? Seems like an odd name for software, the same name of a country where electricity is still only for the rich, let alone running water.
See http://egl.beg.utexas.edu/rsflog/index.php?/archives/67-Madagascar.html for how Madagascar came to be named this way.
Does the software have detailed mannual as SU?
