The proposed processing workflow can be briefly summarized as: 1) Apply forward plane-wave flattening to the raw dataset. 2) Apply EMD filtering in $f-x$ domain. 3) Apply inverse plane-wave flattening to obtain curved seismic reflections. In the following contexts, we will give some details about both EMD based smoothing and plane-wave flattening.
